Terms and conditions – House of Being

These terms and conditions apply to any agreement entered into between House of Being and the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By booking or purchasing, the client declares to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
The terms apply to both consumers and business clients (with a VAT or CVR no.)

2. Scope of the Agreement

These terms and conditions apply to all services, events and products provided by House of Being, including: 

1:1 Sessions

  • Coaching og Human Design sessions – online and physical sessions

  • Energy Work – physical sessions only

  • Business Coaching – only for business clients

  • Executive Mentorship Programme – online and ONLY for business clients

Events

  • Retreats and events – Held in Denmark or abroad

Products

  • Digital products (e-books, workbooks, audio and video material)

 

3. Price, booking and payments

Prices

  • Prices are stated directly on the website in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT 

  • Prices for digital products are specified per product in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT

  • Prices are adjusted on 1 January and apply to bookings made after that date. 

Business clients may request a special offer when purchasing multiple services at the same time.
The price will be given in writing and exclusive of VAT

Booking of 1:1 sessions

  • For business clients, booking takes place via Calendly or by direct contact with Birgitte Riddersholm.

  • For private clients, booking takes place via Calendly.

Booking of retreats and events

  • Takes place directly through the website

Payments 

  • For 1:1 sessions, payment must be made in advance via MobilePay or by invoice for business clients.

  • Business clients purchasing a clip card or booking through personal contact will receive an invoice payable within 8 days net.

    • Prepaid sessions vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

    • Prepaid sessions vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other services.

  • For retreats and events, payment is made via MobilePay or by invoice for business clients.

  • Purchases of digital services are paid directly via the website.

4. Attendance, cancellation and rescheduling 
  • Sessions are held at the agreed time, and it is the client’s responsibility to attend on time.

  • Failure to attend is regarded as completion of the session, and no refund will be given. For invoice payments, the full amount will be charged.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 24 hours before the start of the session.

  • If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the session, the client is not entitled to a refund. For invoice payments, the full amount will be charged.

    • In the case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the session, the client is not entitled to rescheduling.

  • If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session will not be initiated unless specifically agreed otherwise.
    In such cases, no refund will be given, and the full amount will be charged for invoice payments. 

    • The client is not entitled to reschedule a session if arriving more than 15 minutes late.

  • For delays of less than 15 minutes, the session will still end at the originally agreed time.

  • In cases of illness or force majeure, the session may be rescheduled without charge.

    • Illness must be reported immediately and no later than 2 hours before the session.
      Repeated illness-related cancellations may result in full payment being charged.

 

5. Events, retreats and courses. 

Registration for retreats and events is binding once the agreement has been entered into.

  • When booking events or retreats with a fixed date, the client accepts that they waive their right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, Section 18(2).

  • The client may, by agreement, transfer their place to another participant.

  • If few participants register, or in cases of force majeure, House of Being may cancel the event or retreat.
    In such cases, participants will receive a full refund.

For long-term programmes, special terms will apply, which will be provided in writing prior to entering into the agreement.

 

6. Digital products
  • Digital products (PDF, audio, video, e-books, etc.) are delivered via email or as a direct download.

  • As delivery occurs immediately after purchase, the right of withdrawal does not apply, cf. Section 18(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.

    • By purchasing digital products, the client expressly consents to immediate delivery and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal lapses upon delivery, cf. Section 18(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.

  • Products are personal and may not be shared, copied or distributed without written permission.

 

7. Subscriptions – Executive Mentorship (Business clients only)
  • Subscriptions are entered into for a minimum term of 3 months unless otherwise stated or agreed.

  • Payment is made monthly in advance.

  • Termination may be made with one month’s notice to the end of a calendar month.
    Example: If you terminate on 10 March, the agreement ends on 30 April.

    • Termination must be made in writing via email to House of Being.

  • Non-payment results in suspension of access to services but does not release the client from payment obligations until the subscription has been terminated.

  • Unused sessions within a month cannot be transferred unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

8. Right of withdrawal

For all clients, the following applies:

  • Clients have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, unless covered by the exceptions described in sections 5 and 6.

  • If the session is to take place within 14 days of purchase, the client expressly requests that the service commence within the withdrawal period and accepts that the right of withdrawal lapses upon full delivery, cf. Section 18(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.

 

9. Ethics, safety and responsibility

Touch and sessions

  • Energy Work and similar sessions do not involve sexual acts or hypnosis.

  • Physical touch may occur but always with respect for the client’s boundaries.

  • The client may at any time say “stop” or another agreed word.

Emotional reactions

  • Sessions may trigger emotional or mental reactions such as grief, anger or joy.

  • This is a natural part of the process.

  • The client is responsible for seeking professional help if needed.

Health disclaimer

  • Sessions do not constitute healthcare treatment and do not replace medical, psychological or other authorised professional treatment.

 

10. Confidentiality

All information disclosed during sessions or communication between House of Being and the client is treated as confidential and will not be shared without the client’s consent, unless required by law.

 

11. Photos and videos

Photos and video recordings may be taken during events and retreats for marketing purposes and for use on the website.
Close-up images are only used with consent.
The client may withdraw consent for future use at any time, but not for materials already published.

12. Liability

All services are provided at the client’s own risk.

House of Being cannot be held responsible for the client’s actions, emotions or experiences during or after sessions, events, retreats or courses.

Sessions are not healthcare treatment and cannot replace medical, psychological or other authorised professional treatment.

No guarantees are given for specific results.

It is the client’s responsibility to inform House of Being of any health conditions, allergies or areas that should not be touched. 

 

13. Force majeure

House of Being cannot be held liable for failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control, including illness, accidents, fire, natural disasters, pandemics, technical issues or governmental orders.

 

14. Complaints and disputes

Clients may contact Birgitte Riddersholm by email.
Consumers may file a complaint with the Centre for Complaint Resolution (www.forbrug.dk) or via the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
All agreements are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled by the court in Lyngby.

When purchasing digital products, payment is made by card — Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Maestro are accepted.
